[योगाथन] अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस जून २१ टोक्यो

नमस्कार
As many of us know that United Nations General Assembly has declared June 21 as International Yoga Day on December 11 2014.

This year more than 100 countries along with more than 1000s of associations would be conducting various workshops on Yoga to celebrate this day.
Accordingly, HSS-Japan along with many other pro-Yoga associations in Japan is organizing Yogathon on June 21 (Sun), an International Yoga Day!

The declaration came after the call for the adoption of June 21 as International Yoga Day by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ji during his address to UN General Assembly on September 27, 2014 wherein he stated:
“Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change”.

Yog (Yoga), a 5,000 year old physical, mental and spiritual practice having its origin in Bharat (India), aims to transform body and mind.

PS: This event is open to all regardless of nationality, race, language, gender, economic status or any other affiliations.
